    This is where things start getting VERY grey and will end it with, there is no way to prove one way or the other. I dont support defrauding the american government, but I'm also not saying dont depreciate a desktop that you use to turk but do other stuff on it too. Now if you start writing off car depreciation, home payments, and your mistresses trip to the clinic...

    Its like my man cave is my office and used for mturking. I do other stuff in there that isnt office related with mturk, however it is still my office none the less.

    at that point can't you determine how much of the time it's used for exclusively work vs other and then divide up the deductions based on what's for work? Like if you spend 60% of your time on your computer looking at porn and 40% working on mturk, you can take 40% of the depreciation in a given year?
