He's definitely being lazy. Learning how to swap your own PC parts is a pretty handy skill vs paying like $200+ for someone to install a graphics card or whatever.

Yeah, it's not going to stop me using newegg if newegg is cheaper than amazon for PC parts, just a bit more wary of throwing money at them.

 

My daughter's fiance quit working for them for this reason. He said that he would get to work and things he had fixed would be screwed up and he couldn't give some of them the simplest tasks to get done. He does tech for car dealerships now and travels around, so I think he ended up way better off for it.
