You've received a bonus from Peter Bent for work related to 34O39PNDK6UH6GW9X6492L492JZBRB.
The value of your bonus is: $1.00 USD

    The Requester included this note:
Thank you very much for completing our HIT! Here is the amount you earned in the survey by making a correct estimate. Sorry about the delay in making the payment.

Whatever batch you've been working on since yesterday. I have the hardest time finding batches worth doing (not going to do Scoutit). Even PicsFromAbove (or whatever they are now called) used to be a somewhat regular, good paying batch.

Anyone care to share knowledge about what they have their hit forker set at? I've got mine set to a 1 second search delay and the size of the search to 100. Not sure if this is optimal.

It depends- some are super sweet and some aren't. I am eating an organic one right now that I was just thinking it is not sweet and yummy- more sour this one, but still good.

Seems right to me, if I set the delay any lower I start getting PREs in Panda Crazy. 100 is the max page size you can set.

How in the world do you get such high $$. Where do you find the hits? I'm so frustrated. Am I not using Hitscraper properly? Not looking for certain hits enough? I speak with envy and would like to be able to earn $43 by this time in the morning. Where's the Succeed in MTurk for Dummies forum?

No problem. I think "optimizing" would be setting up a tight blocklist of things you don't want to see, that way you don't have to sift through a bunch of junk while collecting. Aggressively rotating out HITs in Panda Crazy and knowing when to set a a search mode up collection up (when a requester is posting multiple HITs under different HIT IDs) is more important.

By rotating Panda do you mean keeping it limited to how many jobs are searching? I usually try not to go over 15.

Oh wow maybe that is why I'm struggling. What if I have 3 hits that I always keep up though? Assuming not a good idea then :( ugh.

You'll want way fewer than that if you're actively Turking. The only time I load that many up at once is when I'm AFK and just have it searching for a handful of $2+ studies.

yea those are tricky. it is okay to keep them on if you aren't really doing anything else, but if you are trying to grab surveys and such those are out of the picture

Thanks to both of you. I have a feeling this should help me out. How long do you usually let a Panda hit sit and search?
