When I got my first job in San Francisco I was making $11.25 an hour and I actually could afford an apartment with that income.

That was the 90s, so not THAT long ago (no comments about that being in the 60s, lol).

When I left I was making quite a bit more (thank you dot-com money) and paying $1150 for a place across the Bay (in the 00s...)

Wonder if I would still be able to afford to live there if I hadn't left that job. No clue what it pays now.
