I feel like most of us with abnormal disorders and problems normally have more than one. It's like hey you have something that is rare and hard to diagnose why don't we give two or three of them.

and that right there is a bullet dodged. a good doctor would have good intentions for the person overall, whether or not they agree. my dad's oncologist would tell us all sorts of voodoo people tried, and he was always like, "whatever makes you comfortable personally, and doesn't kill you faster than the cancer does, go for it."

 

Yeah, my son is autistic, I've known something was amiss since he was around 1, didn't get an official diagnosis until he was 4 because we had to go through a few doctors before one would listen, a few responded like this which made me feel like I'd really made the right choice. And I mean, my son is NOT high functioning, it's not real crazy that I demanded he get evaluated. Doctors are people too, and a lot of people suck.

 

I have comfortably made my $15 goal before even leaving work today because of you fine people's help <3 thank you! Maybe I can aim for another $5 tonight if I'm lucky.

Cons:
3rd party site may be blocked by some firewalls. if you got a strict firewall, might want to do this one your phone first since if you enter it and get blocked, getting back in is a pain since it artificially thinks you took it already when you havent.

Man I've never had a less helpful experience, sadly. They just refused to tell me the cost of going to doc#2 because my plan is "too complicated" - that is not like a joke or a dumbing down of the conversation I just had, its an actual direct quote.

I can see original doc since he's in network
I can see 2nd doc, but he is out of network (thus I have to pay, which alright that's fine) but they cap what he can charge me because apparently he is in some special "almost in network tier but not actually in network but kinda sorta is", but they wont (or can't) tell me the cap he can charge for services since their own tool, for their own insurance plan they provide me, wont work with my plan lmao.

Its not the biggest deal in the world w/ yearly max at least there is some safety net, but playing russian roulette w/ a medical bill is unsettling when both sides are like 'meh we dunno, just come hang out we'll work out the money later'

See if I ever have an inkling to have a certain test/drug done I'll 100% go back to doc#1 b/c when I said "yo I googled this & it mentioned this thing" he immediately prescribed it (or gave me permission for it, just a test so its not that big of a deal to him I'm sure), said come back in 6wks to make sure I wasn't a crack addict, then bounced out of the room so my man has some value over there as a turnstyle test service lmao, I'd just like a 2nd doc to actually y'know look at my stuff and give it 30s of thought haha.
