Hmmm...maybe I shouldn't have used my name. Oh well, kinda late now. I ain't scared...

 

I have to settle for being a pine tree baroness instead, how dull!

 

I probably could. I should be more afraid of the people I rent to (all of our tenants) knowing who I really am and living in my town than I should be of people on the internet.

After 16 years of doing my job I have pissed some people off quite a bit (they don't like it when you evict them, even though they haven't paid rent in six months, or were running a grow house back when that was illegal). If anyone was going to try and steal from me or stalk me it would be one of them.

 

LOL I used to work at a Class D jail. I used to worry, but eh. Not so much anymore.

And that reminded me, lol. My dad was LE for 30 years! Worked at a jail himself for a lot of it. They all knew his name, and mine, and yep there were threats. Plenty of them.

On Fridays we just get pizza. Or in my case chicken poppers which are totally more adult than chicken nuggies, okay.

 

Our facility could hold 416 inmates. IT was a mix of murderers, rapists, bad check writers...it was a hodge podge of inmates. Since it was class D, we could hold the "hard core" criminals up to five years. But out of 416 inmates, 415 swore they were innocent, so I had nothing to worry about.
