Oh yeah, I don't like that either. Then again, I hate most "modern" interior spaces. Open floor plans for example is one of the worst trends of all time.

I honestly don't get this convo. Doesn't anybody prepare a sandwich for their child before sending them off to school anymore? Lunchables and Capri Sun? That stuff is disgusting. Nothing but food coloring and Chemicals. I look at that "meat" and can tell just by the color and consistency it's no better than spam. I can't imagine feeding that to my daughter every day. And call it a meal? Because the school doesn't allow cutlery? Not being able to prepare sandwiches at school is just an excuse. Did the kitchen at home catch fire? Oh, No!

We mostly made our sandwiches at home and brought them to school in a brown paper bag because lunchables are ridiculously expensive when we did bring home made lunches.

 

Me too. I can't believe what passes for a child's "lunch" or "meal" at schools these days. It's scary!

walmart for real had caviar in the clearance aisle at the back of the store near the grocery area. I think was under $2.00 per can. couple of weeks ago at the super walmart.
