i did only 8 because i'm too new to risk many rejections but I kept putting oblong

 

I don't do them because they seem like too much work for 8 cents. They don't really seem like reject bait to me and she isn't a new requester or anything.

I dunno. I haven't done any but you can just look at your worst case scenario and do as many as you can afford to get rejected while staying above 99%

does anyone know how long until ellie's approve? they are subjective so I'm a little uncertain about doing these.

 

I have never tried the dutch oven method, but wow, that pic on the right especially looks like it belongs in a cookbook , really, that's outstanding
I thought I had pics of a few loaves I was proud of, but I guess I delete them
And I agree, it's fun to experiment, flour water yeast and salt are cheap

I bet your loaves are great and I would try and eat them! Mine used to be far uglier (and often denser) but eventually they got a little less reject looking. I really do love Dutch oven method cause it gets a nice crusty top and bottom (I like to spray with water before I put the top on and bake, crusty as hell!).

All bread is beautiful and delicious.

My next experiment is to make a crusty tomato basil bread but I have to make some more tomato paste first!
