when coding gets serious

 

I got eggs so we will be having real cake tonight. in a couple hours. warm and with frosting.

 

Tomorrow we are having carrot cake

yes and don't try the substitute of oil and water. it boiled for an hour. then it went from liquidy to totally boiled off suddenly. smoke everywhere. my apartment almost caught on fire. I think some of the internet blogs don't try their recipes, they just post them and leave the apartment fires to other people.

Eeek. I've never tried that, I have used apple sauce - it doesn't rise enough, and bananas - rose well but was very banana-y.

 

My personal servant (aka my dad) made a face like carrot cake wasn't top tier and questioned my taste in cakes

 

Yeah, I've been looking for something a bit more instructional and in-depth. Hard to get a sense of workflow from 1 minute vids of a guy clicking things on a single HIT.

 

He's crazy

 

He said pineapple upside down cake was better and now I want some of that too, but I want carrot cake more.

 

They are both delicious...but carrot cake...yum. I had to make two of those here not too long ago and they looked so good. Too bad I didn't get to eat them.

 

Did you put the baking powder in the vinegar and water? That is what I have used in the past with success, or yogurt.
