My point being, if folks sit around on MTurk and hope for 'should' and 'fair' they're gonna be SOL & that batch is just a fantastic example of it.

I agree with you, 100%. I'm sure as shit not wasting my time doing 'em. Just throwing it out there b/c I've seen a lot of chatter about "how do I make da monies" lately and fixing garbage piles like that is one of the ways how. 99.9% of garbage piles on MTurk don't have pre-existing fixes available for 'em to learn/compare to & the ones that do (CIs) disappear at paces that generally prevent a normal user learning a thing from 'em.

I know you're gonna be 100% "FUCK ZOTLAR RAAAA" here, and that's fine, but for the folks who can't be you this is an excellent opportunity to learn something useful.

I love how I can drug the dog with catnip and calm him down because I just don't have the energy to deal with him while taking care of the wife as she recovers from surgery.

 

also...if you're one of the people who want to learn to script things or need practice (not just on these HITs, but things like CIs that disappear faster than @Randomacts can tell you about low FPS), MTS or kad's other source saving script (https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/38854-worker-mturk-group-id-history) are great tools to work on scripts in your downtime.
