That's what I'm thinking, too. And hoping that while they are getting done, the batch has been sitting around for so long that someone will finally realize the error and fix it. Normally this batch would have been gone in, what, an hour? Two, max?

 

Back to doing my bookkeeping that I only ever do about twice a year as I hate it.

But unless I want to pay my accountant even more to read my chicken scratch in my check register, I have to input it all and fill out nice reports so they can then give that info to the IRS for me.

That's all absolutely true.

My only comment is that fiddling with scripts is so time-consuming it is very difficult to get ahead of what you put in. You have to like coding/scripting/whatever coders want to yell at each other about/SCRIPTKIDDIES!!!! It's all the same to me.

zing's Yes/No script is a GREAT script to hack from. No there's nothing there, but it's been my "find a button, press a key" template forever because its like 7 lines.

That said Zoltar's bottleneck is not scrolling/selecting, it's loading the framepage and the examined websites, by far that is what slows them <10/hr.

They are not a bad-paying batch to me, even at 0.05. Tis money.

Fully agree with this. I don't think its viable for everyone to teach themselves JS/AHK just to make money on MTurk, at all. Its not easy. Just the creativity required to look at a task and get the max-ROI value out of it takes brain mechanics no one person can perfectly imitate on every task that comes across the platform. If I tried to make the "perfect" Zoltar script I'd have made $5 on them all-time lol so even beyond the coding knowledge required (which is bad enough) being able to make split second on the fly "is this worth it to code/learn?" decisions is a skill all unto its own.

But OTOH trying is a good way to learn one's limits & get the full appreciation/value out of the pre-built tools they use

I think the zolt workflow I ended up with back then was both the script and AHK.

 

It looks like today is kind of dead? I was feeling kind of crappy, so I thought maybe being productive would help. But after blocking that photo collection project, my HF is basically empty lol.
