I went to Georgia once on my way to Florida. First gas station saw this, didn't make a good impression

 

Quebec is just generally known as not being as friendly to English speaking people. A lot of Canadians I know dislike Quebec for various reasons but a lot of it prob has to do with the language thing lol.

 

The only way I can describe them is "fiercely french"

 

That's one place I'd never go to watch the stars play out of town. I think I'd get stabbed, with a broken and jagged molson bottle. They're crazy about their hockey. Tailgate for 3 days before a game/shutdown the city type of affair.

 

Protip: You can't easily break a bottle if it's full. I knew a guy who tried this at a party with a full bottle of jack, it bounced of the counter and gave him a concussion

my experience with georgia was similar to yours, but the gas station had boiled peanuts in a crock pot for sale. You fill up a little styrofoam cup or whatever. I believe I talked about this on turkerhub once and we derailed a thread on boiled peanuts or something. I may have dreamed this though, which would be a really weird dream.

Also most of the state was very flat and boring to drive through.
Chatahoochee national forest was the midpoint of my trip from Chicago area to the verglades - so we stayed there for a night halfway. Chatahoochee was nice. Good creeks. Green forest. The rest of Georgia was very bland and moist. Everyone smelled weird. The cement was sticky. People talked funny.
