I just want to mention, Final Fantasy VI (or 3) is multiplayer. For some reason the original game has multi controller input options. I set up a server and my friend in florida connects and we're just starting the world of ruin half. We're playing a hardmode sorta version (called Brave New World) that makes the game wayyy more tactically engaging and I am having a blast with it. You can decide who controls who in the battle screens and both "controllers" control the movement/speech in the overworld stuff. Not everyone can use every esper, so the endgame doesn't become just all characters casting ultima and quick and that nonsense.
