Morning everyone! Trying to find some motivation after taking most of the week off from turking

 

Oh, I hear you. I try my best to intercept stuff and get more detail for my development team. If a customer gives me a vague comment of "it doesn't work right" they'll get a polite response back from me asking them "what were you doing when it broke? Does that happen every time? Do you have screen shots?" - etc.

If it's a legit bug, it'll go into our queue. If it's because the user did things the wrong way, it'll also go into our queue, but I'll go to the UX/UI team first and say, hey, why did the user do this the wrong way, and how can we make it easier for them?

Of course, sometimes the resolution is "user is an idiot who shouldn't be using our software". And then the dev team won't get to hear about it at all!

Good morning! Been under the weather the last few days but good enough to start slinging some surveys now.

 

I'm part of the pilot team at my company that gets new patches and new core upgrades pushed out first. That's because our laptop team has learned that I'm a power user so am likely to expose things, plus I'm reliable at being able to find persnickety little details that others might overlook, and I'll give them very detailed feedback about exactly how to reproduce an error.

I just did a .05 screener hit can we not review those, it didnt show up in turkerview? hahahaa would make sense just making sure.

 

I don't know if CT finally fix that, but yeah not supposed to review screeners. It throws off the hourly for normal work.

 

Is anyone else's MTS borked with TV? I kid, I kid.

 

screeners, qualifier, anything of that sort doesn't really represent the real work of a requester often, so yea they get dismissed by TV
