Has anyone tried turking w/ TO & TV just straight up off? @oldtimeturker that would actually be an experiment I'd like to see for a week.. I think doable if you already have a big blocklist & can script..

@ChrisTurk. sorry responding like a day late, been going so HAM these past few days since i got back from nokangaroo land. What do you want me to try and do? I dont use TV/TN anymore cuz i cant figure it out. so i may be a good candidate. Always up for a challenge.

 

My dad is one of the reasons I grew to love music so much. I could end the sentence here but I think it would be a lot more interesting if I elaborated. He was a drummer for a band when he was younger. He played music and sang around the house all the time and bought me my first piano and guitar. He encouraged me to sing and convinced my mother to let me attend the conservatory even though I suffered from severe stage fright. At 16 I was going to school, going to the conservatory, in a mediocre band and working an apprenticeship while staying at a boarding school with nuns. This was when I lived between Belgium and Luxembourg. It was normal in a city where everyone is from another country (Luxembourg) to send kids to Belgium, Italy, Germany, France, etc...to study while their parents worked in Luxembourg.
Dad is the reason I listened to music from all over the world (The Middle East, the Caribbean, Latin America, Europe, Africa , Asia) and learned to appreciate all sorts of cultural influences in music.

I can still hear him in my head singing as he drummed away on the table. Teasing me he would look at me and say: Sugar, aww honey honey. You are my candy girl.
