I joined mturk when they gave it to literally everyone like candy and then only like two people I know of have gotten it since, so yeah I don't have masters.

 

So between slave wages and barely acceptable?

I wouldn't bother with them for that personally.

 

I have done the "is this appropriate to say when you first meet someone" hits, and I have done the "tag all the whatevers" hits. I won't do any of the others. I avoid the bounding box hits at all costs.

 

I'm having a really hard time getting my turking mojo today. there's surveys and stuff and I'm not sick, I don't have an excuse.

everything on mturk seems really thinky right now. I'm not even sure I'm doing some of these right.

 

Yeah, I got through to a real person and it got taken care of.

Then throughout the week, I got contacted by all the different people I emailed out of desperation. The best one started like this:

"My name is Bash and I work with the Mechanical Turk escalations team. Your e-mail to Jeff Bezos has been forwarded to me for review."
