No I really do crack up when some dude rejections the entire study for being "0% approval rate terrible workers" and it somehow doesn't click that maaaaaybe they're not understanding what that really means

 

I checked, the hit had no approval %, but did have US qual tho. so an attempt was made.

 

Nah if it's what I'm thinking it goes like this:

• Req looks at their overview of workers who did the HIT
• MTurk tells them you have a 0% approval rate butonlyforthatrequesterstasksbutthereqistoobudytonoticethatpart
• Req thinks "wow look at all these garbage workers who have all of their work rejected!!!
• Rejects
• IRB
• ???
• Profit

I'm writing in regards to the rejection I received from this HIT for the reason: "0% (0/0) Lifetime Approval Rate"


What you saw on your end: "0% (0/0) Lifetime Approval Rate" is a worker's approval rate from only that requester account. Not my overall approval rating. Because I have never done a hit from your requester account prior, it will come up as 0(hits approved)/0(hits submitted).

My overall approval percentage on Mechanical Turk is SUPERHIGH%
