12/05 - Mutation Monday! TurkerHub xPort v2 & Live Update Mutations

I've been searching through the new forum lately and can I just say I really love all the work that @ChrisTurk and others are putting into it? Even with it being so new, it has new features that other forums lacked. Just wow.

 

I agree wholeheartedly. This place is already 100x better than any other Mturk forum I've participated on. I can't wait to see what the future brings!

 

@Anath614 are you using hitDB or some tracking system? Can you check to see if your average has gone up? If you were loading up on penny hits early on, that'll bring your overall average down, but if you can look at recent history and see that the average has gone up, then we can rule out those first 5k hits or whatever while you figured out what you're doing.

I don't think historical average means anything. If she's making $10 in 8 hours, that's $1.25 per hour. If I was working for that I'd kill myself.

 

63 in about an hour, which is close to my average I guess, but it feels like FOREVER!

 

That's a bit excessive. I'd just go find another job.

 

I think that something that we don't talk about much on here are keyboard shortcuts. I've found that getting quicker with those helps me a lot, since I turk on a laptop. Just a little suggestion.

Well my last 45 days looks like this

So average is a little more than $10.00 and several of those days were slow for me because I was sick. So it looks like I am making progress slowly. I am searching for scripts now and just installed the Zoltar script

 

Me, too. But, if for months 1 and 2, she's making $3 a day because she spends all her time doing copytext and John Brelig, then suddenly the light comes on and months 3 and 4 she's making $17 a day, NOT doing copytext and Brelig, that's a significant difference. And really, I think wiping away that learning curve gives a better representation of earning.

 

Of course, right as I sit down to get my morning started, my computer is having DNS issues and idk how to fix it.

 

I have a "regular" full time job....it just doesn't give me all the money I need. I am trying to make xtra money to get an emergency reserve and to fix up my house and provide some more things for my kids.

If I made $0 yesterday and $20 today, I wouldn't say I made $10 per day.

That being said it is probably also a little less than 8 hrs a day because I do it at my regular job. I am the only one in the office and we are a small startup so my boss is cool with me doing it as long as my other stuff gets done. So let's say on average maybe its more like 6hrs right now
