You need to know if you can handle the experiments that come out a kids rear.

 

First of all, congratulations!

People told me to eat frequent, small meals helped a bit. Instead of having 3 square meals, have 6 tiny ones. Also ginger stuff. Gingerale, ginger cookies, etc.

When that didn't work, I gave up and just started eating things that didn't hurt and weren't awful coming back up. Crackers and small, light foods helped sometimes. Also getting a lot of sleep. It eventually went away (with my first) in the middle of the second trimester. With both pregnancies, I took prenatals at night. They are rough on the tummy. My doctor/midwife told me with my first to just take kid's vitamins in the beginning with my first because it was hard for me to keep them down.

 

Those people don't even make enough money for that to be worth it over the standard deduction anyways.

 

So, in the ultimate ymmv, throwing up rice for me is a NIGHTMARE. If I’m at that point, it comes back up uhm...still grainy and it’s basically the worst and I feel like I’m choking all at the same time.

Basically, giant +1 to everyone having different things that work

I tried seabands and ended up slingshotting them at my sleeping husband. Do not recommend.

 

I attempted to make my own ginger beer, and it was a little too strong. I was shooting for something more refreshing w/ a little bit of booze. I don't know where I went wrong but the final result tasted like a mix of ethyl and dirty water, somewhere in the 20% range. Maybe next time I'll follow a recipe haha. But yeah, ginger beer is great. Ginger beer and Jameson is even better.
