My Panda will only pick up like 1 or 2 surveys every now, and then. Maybe I have too much stuff?

How many pandas are you running?

 

Thought of one other piece of advice if you want to pass it on. If they define things like cout, endl etc anyone with basic programing experience wouldn't find those hard at all I think.
