Common core. Dumbing our kids down for years.

 

What if Cindy is travelling near a black hole's event horizon?

 

Oh, I love common core math. When I was volunteering and I heard how math was explained the common core way, for the first time EVER math made sense to me. If I had been taught math that way I would have understood it, as math is just more than memorization.

However, that isn't a common core problem I would bet. It doesn't ask you to estimate or round, lol.

I just hang a lot of pictures And my master's was in research so math word problems that leave a lot of variables uncontrolled for make me twitch. This is not a reproducible "experiment" without further data!!!!

(It's also a super easy solve the old fashioned math way, which is why I'm guessing it is not a traditional common core math problem as I can solve this using old school math, lol.)

 

Hang in middle of wall? Easy:
Step 1. Use hammer to break wall.
Step 2. Shove picture into wall.
Step 3. Hang up Hanson poster over hole.
