Gladly. I miss the snow.

 

After another snow day, we lost power last night around 6:30 from a downed tree. Around 10:30, it tried to come back on for about 30 seconds before I watched the transformer by our house blow. It finally just came back on about 30 minutes ago (6:30 AM). I had to drag all the food back in from chilling in the snow and I'm pretty sure I have carpal tunnel from playing solitaire for 6 hours straight.

I mean, snow falls at 32F and that's about the temp of my fridge (or only slightly colder) so....It's either that or risk anything perishable going bad in the fridge in the event the power is out longer than anticipated. And that's a lot of wasted money to me.
