google is quite a bit smarter than alexa from my experience. Alexa app makes it really easy to set up routines and get hooked up to your lightbulbs and lightswitches and stuff - but as far as asking questions and acquiring knowledge - google is WAY better.

 

I know how to google... what I don't know how to do is remember to switch my laundry.
