    Oh yeah. In my 20s the job I had I was pulling down like..70k a year I mean I was stupid with it but I WAS making it.

    I would go to work and find out she spent like (no joke) over 2200 on clothes. I would...be...upset.

    I won't lie and make myself sound like a good person because I would flip the hell out. There was NO reason we couldn't afford our $750 rent.

    If I ever get married - I'm demanding separate finances.

    I'm incredibly cheap to the point of - it might be a disorder.

    I will say hurtful things over a can of chef boyardee instead of great value. Divorce would be imminent.

    If I ever marry I will TOTALLY have separate finances.

    I have assets. They're for my kid to inherit. Not someone who showed up mid life, lol

    I mean, we can combine some stuff...but like you I could say mean things about trivial stuff because I'm so used to doing things my way all the time.

    (But, I do hate Great Value, so it's Chef Boy Ar Dee all day long in our house!!)
