SE taxes suck. I'm not hit as hard as everyone else even though I'm taxed the same because I do have payroll taxes that I always get money back on, so that pays the SE taxes. Plus my rental...so far it's not *made* me money and it's losses reduce my personal income (hence the getting money back on my payroll taxes).

But when I am stupid enough to look at that section of my super thick taxes that are given back to me I want to cry at how much goes away in SE taxes.

I'll get a bunch of it back when I finally get my Social Security income, right?
