@angel you not only have the right to rant, but the supreme right to be madder than the other side of creation. Your doctor doesn't know what he is(n't) doing. You NEED TO SEE a Lymphodema Occupational Therapy Specialist. They normally hang out with the physical therapy crowd. Most doctors hisorically get less than 30 minutes training about the lymphatic system in Medical School and any abnormalities are thought to be related to cancer treatment/surgeries, which is NOT necessarily true. Take a really good reading through these sites:

This will keep you busy for quite a while reading and viewing, but self education is your best offensive tool in the quest to get the treatment you need and deserve! Once I got the information I needed and brought appropriate sitations to my doctor I started getting treatment to manage my legs and arms.
