HOA is a ...loose term here. I mean, we have bylaws and stuff, but they aren't super strict for the most part and are a remnant of the 60s. We are all pretty decent here, just cause we live in a trainwreck of a desert shanty, unincorporated nightmare town and this is one of the few places where you can live without total crap. When we lived on the farm in SC, we had issues with the neighboring farm not "believing in fences," and their dog constantly running away to our house. In rural GA, we had the crazy neighbors who used to show up to try to drag me to church. Last place, we had the busy body old man who called the cops on me A LOT for things that were obvs not illegal or even rude on my part (he didnt like the way I pulled in my car LMAO). The crazy trash man is pretty tame by comparison to some of the wack-a-doodles we've lived near, but GOODNESS!
