Cat news.

Lucy is now allowed outside, and is learning the pitfalls of being out there when I leave for work (i.e., food does not live outside, and there is no one home to let her in when she gets hungry). She came RUNNING to us when we showed up to drop kiddo off at home and practically did a header into her food bowl.

Lotta is sick and the vet can't get us in for a week. It's probably just a URI but...one of her eyes is draining a lot of stuff, she wheezes when she breathes sometimes (all the time when purring), her nose is wet and she sneezes.

The kid is super stressed about this but I keep saying, "Dude, she just has a bad cat cold. And see? She's eating normally! She'll probably be over it before we get to the vet! "
