Depends on who you ask, some people are uhhh, yeah and some are speed demons.

 

Alexandria HITs are pretty good hourly.


Yours are a bit underpaid to the point where I've stopped doing them. They require kind of rushing through them and not double checking answers to get a decent wage.

 

These new ones? Not great. They're taking longer, especially if I'm completely clueless about the topic they're talking about. If I don't know what it is, it's harder to determine if a step is likely. According to my TurkerView for the ones I've done on this computer, $8.50 average. But I've had a few easy ones recently.

way too high effort for 6-7 queries at 17 cents. The alexs at ~30? look more fair imo

I would love to meet somebody who can actually sit down and do them for an extended period of time though. I wouldn't touch them with a 12ft pole, so don't take what I say too seriously.

honestly, @rowan just throw a few messages out to the workers who've submitted a bunch and ask them in exchange for a 1-2$ bonus or something. Those workers, who are giving you good data and do a bunch of them, probably do alright on them ~12+/hour at the very least.

 

That's honestly not that great, either.

2.5c to read a full sentence query and then compare that to a source sentence, that's pretty bad tbh.

 

people were able to make the OLD rowans work at 20+/hour after scripting them, so I'm sure SOMEBODY is doing well on them. a small minority I imagine.

 

Sometimes the sentences are hard to comprehend and visualize as well. - especially considering often written by an AI

 

requires reading multiple times sometimes to get the gist of it

 

The old rowans were like 16/hr for me with no scripts, but I still wasn't a fan, tbh.

but the biggest takeaway (puts req shill hat on) is if you're getting what you need at that price, enjoy it @rowan

personally, I think most of us here feel it's on the low end of the pay scale for the amount of effort the task is compared to other tasks. But that's typically outweighed by the total batch size and amount of work.

at least that's just preference as opposed to it just being shit -- un-doable work
