Holy fuck my husband doesnt. We have a timer on the stove and when it goes off instead of getting up right away to turn it off or stopping it before, he'll sit there and just let it beep while he takes care of other things. Drives me fucking nuts reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

If you've got a fancy microwave, maybe. Not the cheap$30 sunbeam you can't

 

I have a 12 year old GE that was purchased for $25.

You can prob turn it off on yours as well with a combination of buttons.

 

Unfortunately, this unit does not have a way to disable the beeping via programming.
Unplug microwave, open top, "several screws" look to where the keypad is, behind that you should see the control board, mounted you should see a round black device may be a speaker or pizza buzzer, verify that is sound.
