Oh, interesting. I always wonder how people get the "online chat" customer support jobs. That would be cool. I just don't actually wanna talk to people on the phone. But I could totally type to them!

This one you normally have to talk with people on the phone (I dont' see chat on this one). However if anyone knows of any chat only jobs that allows you to type 60 wpm or less let me know. I have been having a time trying to find one..I can't talk on the phone anyone (because of my anixety) but I don't mind chat..

 

I would be happy to share that info with you if I had it. I just really don't know. Although I can't say I've looked very hard. I feel the same way with my anxiety.

 

I have a friend that has some sort of customer service online chat only job with Hulu, i'll ask him for details.

 

Me too please. I have a speech impairment due to my hearing impairment, so I don't have excellent verbal communication skills.

 

I worked at customer service jobs for 23 years (I had 4 years of offline jobs/retail so all together I have been working for 27 years). I did well until my early 40's and was to the point when I quit that I was on 325 mg of anxiety pills and blood pressure pills and still had 180/104 blood pressure so I had to quit doing it. I miss the $$ but not the stress.
