So, I've got this arm injury that's healing from 2005. I was overworked and wasn't taking care of myself when I tore the ACL muscle in my elbow.

I didn't even know what happened, and it happened on the job. There wasn't anyone around to offer me support via visiting a specialist or anything. I was making minimum wage, renting an apartment in the city at the time and I was let go in that month after my friend hired me. So, I basically didn't know what actually happened and no one talked to me. So, I was just there wondering why when I lift something with my arm it was excruciating pain. I didn't ever report it as an injury, because I didn't learn it was an actual injury until after a year or more when it healed and started throbbing with pain because the tendons don't grow back as well as they should after a tear.

Basically, every now and then I find a task that needs a lot of clicking or pressing keys and if I find myself getting aggravated by the task or the pain it amplifies and starts to inflame that part of my arm. I take Naproxen sometimes for the pain aggravation. It seems to help and I have a prescription for Duloxitine because it can travel to my wrist nerve and send shooting hollow signals all the way up my arm next to the bone and tucks behind my shoulder blade. It's a really super odd injury that I wish would heal, but there's really no way I can recover by myself.

Oh, and after that year I definitely couldn't return to work nor find a way to get unemployment compensation. Sometimes I still can't work. I'm sure chopping a case of onions or [omg] CARROTS would really mess it up.
