OMG, I had one on my desk for like a decade. Thought I lost it until I was cleaning out the garage two weeks ago AND I FOUND MY WEENIE MOBILE! It was in a box of stuff I cleared off of an old work desk and packed away.

Not for a normal person. If your cat has medical issues (potential for crystals in urine or something like that) or someone in the family has allergies... maybe. That's why I bought it. But I have an orca whale of a cat, so it takes TWO bags to fill our box, and you can judge the price of that for yourself. You still have to "stir/mix" it, so you're not really eliminating the time of scooping it. It doesn't look like traditional kitty litter at first (it's like a white crystal-y sand), but it changes colors based on concentration, so it certainly can look... yellow. or blue/green. Which isn't "pretty". And it tracks like a MF, despite all of the adds saying that it doesn't.

 

I got to ride in one years ago when working in Indy - they made products for the QSR I was working for at the time. They hooked us up with tickets to the 500. The reps DROVE the Wienermobile to the track for the race. Funny to see it in the parking lot with normal cars.

 

My origin story isn't as cool. I got it from the big Weenie mobile. It visited downtown SF one day and all of us 20-30 somethings rushed excitedly from our offices to crowd around it and get the free little weenie cars.

Market St. was an even worse clusterfrack than it normally is on the day the Weenie Mobile cruised by. (However, pedestrians stopping traffic was nothing new, so perhaps many people didn't even notice...)
