    Scripts are loaded into your RAM along with your browser, but sometimes your computer may need to go to your disk to get additional data while they're running. If your disk is running at 100%, this will take way more time than usual. I don't think it's related to running a bunch of scripts. That would take up CPU and RAM usage the most and barely affect disk transfer.
