As someone that had ears that stuck out as a child I had a love hate relationship with Dumbo. I also hate most live action remakes of great animated movies. The Aladdin casting to me was pretty shitty and there is no way that I am going to enjoy Will Smith more than Robin Williams.

I keep seeing this, but I feel like people who say that aren't even giving Will Smith a chance to play the role. Sure, he's not Robin Williams, no one else can be Robin Williams but the man himself, but the role of Genie isn't just Robin Williams.

unless the casting of Snowhite is beyond amazing I would probably ignore it for the same reason as you do Dumbo, but i just can't care as they focused on the people.
