If you don't mind sharing, what is the best payment platform for work done outside of mTurk? Do you just get paypal'd the money?

There was one time I did some off platform stuff for someone on /r/jobs or something like that, where you collected voice recordings like Acme, but they wanted as many unique users as you could find. They paid me via Western Union. I felt super sketchy the whole time.

But I did make like 2 grand in a week... but the bank people eyed me like I was a scam artist.
