I HOPE.

The dough was just a nightmare and I gave up trying to shape it, rolled it into a pathetic looking log, and sliced it up. I finally got soft pretzels under control and thought, "Well, how hard could hard bavarian pretzels be?"

I'm gonna end up trying a different recipe next week, cause I found a few that were wildly different, and this one DID NOT sparkle with me. I made such pretty doughs this weekend, and the universe smacked me down today when I tried to go 3/3 on fancy baked goods. I had an easier time making croissants than this.
