My office chair has been stuck since yesterday and made it so I couldn't lean all the way back. Just a minute ago it loosened up and I thought I was going to flip over backwards!

 

Bah, I'm sorry your son had to deal with that. That's awful! I hate whenever something like that happens. They told my dad I was "too young," to have migraines and it "must just be a headache," and I was being a baby about it. My dad is NOT someone who would take me to the doctor much and routinely told me crying was not an option, so for him to drag me to a doctor's office was generally a huge deal. My neurologist said it was likely from the gi issues I've always had, cause my electrolytes are normally so fucked that I sometimes have dystonic twitching episodes, so migraines weren't really surprising.

But yeah, agreed. The neurologist I had until we moved to the west coast was such a life changer for me. I used to drive a couple hours to see him even after I left college, cause dude was on point and really helped with a lot of my health issues, cause he actually listened and would actively look for creative ways to help. I don't think I'd be doing as well today without him. I really gotta send him some more cookies!
