this feels like when you get people together who love paperbacks and hate ereader.

 

And then the paperback reader gets bludgeoned to death by the guy that only reads hardbacks.

 

I purchase every book I enjoy in hardback/paperback so I have a physical copy of it. I am all for Archiving everything you can.

 

Why? Sony infected my computer with a rootkit last time I bought a game. I have no reason to trust these people they have demonstrated again and again that loyalty means nothing to them. The law means nothing to them all they want is profit and they will fuck every customer they've ever had for short-term profit. It's like the bankers, don't call me a criminal when you break more laws daily then I have in my life.

I have to pay mine IN PERSON.

Our town won't let you pay it online at all, but they also won't let renters have the water in their name. But they won't send us a copy either to the house the water bill is literally for, they only send it to the landlord at her residence. If you wanna mail it or drop it in the slot, you have to have a copy of the bill. If you wanna pay with card AT ALL, you have to go in person. They are also open weird hours and close for lunch. We asked the landlord to just add the water bill amount to the next months rent - NOPE. SHE WONT. I have to physically walk into this place, tell them my landlord's name and address, and make small talk every month while I wait for the lady to look up our bill. Our landlord doesn't even tell us how much the bill is for. It's normally around the same amount every month, but still, WTF.
