Carpet half way up (assuming you are going to use carpet at all).

When I was young, we turned a garage into a game room (no basement in this house) and that's what we did. The carpet that was on the floor ran up the walls like wainscotting. The carpet was this wacky purple with red yellow green fibers throughout. Help keep the sound down as well. It's where we spent most of our time.

I wish I had photos of my bathroom that was in this house. Black counter top with gold sparkles, and the wallpaper was leopard - with the black spots being made of a some kind of fuzz. I was in elementary school at this time and my friends thought I had the coolest bathroom ever! It was Elvis like
