I feel that. It sucked at the time, but I imagine living with my mom would have fucked me up way worse than living with my boozy & mean, but mostly absent dad. And getting the hell out was the best thing either of us could have done. I made A LOT of dumbass decisions without parental guidance, but at least I turned into my own person, free from that type of bullshit, as did you <3 And like, Matt's mom and I do not get along, but I'll always have patience for her, cause she was a super good mom to him and I appreciate that in her.
