Matt: Well, they are kind of expensive.

Me: Buy them if you're going to use them. You'll get more riding time on track days, plus you want them.

Matt: Yeah, but, will I use them enough?

Me: YES. THIS IS THE FOURTH TIME IN 3 MONTHS YOU HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT NEEDING THEM!

Matt: Man, I wish I had tire warmers! I hate that I can't race as aggresively because of cold tires, so I feel like I'm wasting the first session. See how that guy is just ripping it already? He has tire warmers!
