he had computer and (minor) health issues, but last i heard, those things were taken care of and he would be back. but he is not back. although he is a nice, wholesome person, he is also a liar.

 

not many pluses to my car accident but wheelchair trumps "dainty female card" I swear every other word out of Daves mouth when we are working outside or cleaning is "Help your mother with that" he has the boys trained well.

in all seriousness cant lift, vacume, shovel snow or dig. Soooo don't miss shoveling snow and gardening is even more relaxing now that I can point and say dig a hole there

I'm sorry about your brother. I'll admit, it took time to wrap my head around it. We were young then. Just know that there are people in the world that get it and you are valued . I saw the depression that the anxiety caused and the spiral first hand, I had him come live with my family. And he was lucky, he got better because the reason for his panic was addressed. Everyone does not have that luxury, or even a specific "thing" that can be named as a cause. ((((HUGS)))))

 

Probably one of the more positive aspects of MTurk

 

I feel ya, my dude! I make a point to be open about coping with depression/anxiety, cause I hate the idea that anyone feels judged or alone about that kind of thing. I still live on a damn struggle bus some days. I can't accurately explain how frustrated I was with myself this weekend, cause every one here knew I was excited for a short vacay without the pets, and I STILL had a small meltdown because my anxiety told me actually going was gonna end poorly. I finally left and had a great time once I calmed down (I look happy AF there, and I'm normally neutral at best, so it was clearly worth it to leave), but I'm lucky I had a partner who was willing to sit down and delay leaving while we talked thru the reasons WHY I was freaking out, so I could reason my way out of the garage despite my exteme anxiety- instead of a partner who would just tell me to suck it up like I wasn't having very real struggles at the time.

We're all doing our best, and it's hard some days! The best we can do is try to be understanding of someone's struggles instead of acting like it's not real because we don't understand it personally or some shit.

 

He sends me really nice christmas cards every year, tho!

 

I found the humor in my life long ago, you have to or it gets to be too much. I mean I have my days I can't take it and I go on a rant but for the most part I laugh and move on.
