Doesn't matter who it is, their issue is with MTurk (and their own fuckup) not the workers. There is no reasonable/safe way for workers to transfer the funds back.

LOL. I'm not sure it is more affordable than Palo Alto. They already lived there when she got the job at Stanford so commutes. They bought their house about 15 years ago. It was still expensive, but not expensive as it is now.

I live too far from Stanford to commute, so I'd have to move there, and nopedy nope. I'll take my lowly, pays me less job and keep living in my nice house with a big yard that is walking distance to all the things I need.

I would LOVE to work there if I could afford to move there. I miss academia. That's my world, and I've felt like a fish out of water since I left.
