    He just got back to me. What a dork. He wants us to submit the demo on a 2.50 HIT and then send us the link if we qualify. I simply asked, what if we dont qualify based on your criteria? rejection? lol. I could see this making sense if it was a 0.00 base hit, but not 2.50 unless the dude is gonna pay be 2.50 for my demographics.

    Typically DHCP will have assigned you into 169.X.X.X if DHCP failed to do its thing, btw.

    169.154.x.x - it's called APIPA. This is a very good first test.

    If you have a routeable IP address assigned, try doing a tracert and see where it's failing..

    Oh shit, Question. Safest way to save/download youtube vids. Apparently I looked into one of my fav artists and some of their stuff is being pulled down so now I must save it if I want to hear it again and oh god, one k/jpop song is never exactly like the other in the right chest feeling for music fits.

    Do this mean you've reserved a static IP address for your laptop? Again, make sure it's actually getting there with the IPCONFIG. When you did a renew did it give any errors?

    What's doing the DHCP, your router, I assume? Could you possibly have set a way too small range which is being exceeded? That seems unlikely, but I figured I'd at least ask.

    I use youtube-dl, but I don't think that's available on windows. Try looking up the video on invidious (https://invidio.us) and IIRC there should be a download button somwhere on it.
