i'm assuming the issue is just the barking, not any aggression? i was told the best way to get a dog to stop barking is to train them to bark.

it didn't help my dumbdumb, who will "speak" and "quiet" on command, yet goes ballistic on the mailman every single day. but it's supposed to work.

Well, I'm not sure. We don't get much company...we're kinda antisocial So Cocoa is not used to people coming to the house very often. I don't *think* he would bite, but it's never been tested. We have a tall fence and it is also electric wired all the way around. He was pretty aggressive acting outside. Now, I have a big thick door with windows between the hall and the kitchen. I don't like my dogs and cats in the kitchen cause I still sometimes bake commercially. So Stevie was standing in front of the door and we had cocoa in the hall and he was acting perfectly fine. He was listening to my commands, tail wagging, happy as can be. Just when he's outside, he acts like he's going to tear Stevie's face off.
