Giving him hell is my hobby People come up to me at the airport and tell me how smart he is and I usually joke, “ yeah, but he still can’t cook his own pasta!”

It’s an ongoing joke we have. Cause he literally eats dry pasta sometimes to avoid fussing with the stove

I’m always super proud of his work, tho. He’s had a lot of big accomplishments and this is probably the biggest.

Pros:
I actually kinda like these -- If you're a decent conversational writer, and you're familiar with using Alexa/Google assistant, these should be easy for you, especially if you have done a few.

Cons:
After a few, it does get harder to make up different scenarios on the same thing (especially if you're not familiar with the specific tasks they're asking for -- there are a few versions of this HIT). If you're from a rural area where you don't do any of these things regularly, or at all, you might have trouble with these.

How did they recruit him for that position?

 

He won a Lindy at Airventure for the air cam he re-designed and built start to finish (and then was on the cover of Sport Aviation, on Cnn, etc) and they asked him to fly out and interview because they were having problems where people without as much practical experience were making designs that were theoretically great but failing during stress testing. He had a competing offer from Space-X at the time, but wanted to work for a smaller program that wasn’t gonna demand he burn himself out.

He’s low key brilliant, tho he will swear to you that he’s not very bright.
