A few niche things to add to this:
If you want someone to move down a path but avoid a certain card along the way, it actually saves moves if you just walk over the card and then deselect it instead of rotating and then moving around it back onto the path. You can also use a similar idea in other situations.

Somewhat similarly, try to take advantage of moving backwards when you can, if I see that someone is aligned in the right way, I will just tell them to move backwards to get the card, because that saves 3 moves of rotation and then they will still be facing forward so they keep their alignment which I can use to give further instructions. Sometimes you can take advantage of this as a follower to get multiple cards in a single turn if they're aligned in the right way.

And this applies to the leader, as well. Position yourself in front of a card so you can back up, and then get one opposite of it. (Plan those moves)

With a good follower, you don't get too freaked out when you see them step on the wrong card, because you'll see them back over it again in a second and you'll think, "Damn, that's a beautiful human being!"

 

My first and only game yesterday I was a follower and the guy's second command was "sorry I'm not sure what I'm doing" or something along those lines and we got 1 pair over 12 minutes. Wish I had done more games now I hope they go again today.

 

I thought the same thing. It was so simple if you just read it lol

 

I don't want to be trapped in this hell today. Kiddo gets out of school early so I'm running like hell then.

 

The only thing I disagree with is this. I like to chain a lot commands together (always setting up sets), and if the follower moves or turns then clicks finish, and my next command is 'turn left' they get out of sync. Personally, I'd just like followers to listen to the leaders, don't just do things.

Everyone has their own style of course, but yeah, that bothers me. I got the 3 18 scores yesterday as the leader, and last games I was at 21-22, and followers moving on their own brings that down to like 14-16 set games.
