its really all about getting good ratings, being able to test on both phone and computer, and keeping the tab open the entire day.

I did a lot of stuff in my early 20s that probably should have resulted in my death. I do still believe I killed some brain cells that would come in handy now.

Mostly enjoyed myself. Super glad I'm not an addict as when I decided to be done, I was done. I literally woke up one day and decided I had two paths I could walk, one involved drugs (some hard ones, like meth) and one involved me finishing college and being productive. I decided to go back to college. And that was that.

The only thing I've done since then is Ecstasy in the 90s. Another truly awesome drug the first time (wasn't so awesome the next couple of times).

Now I won't do any of that, for the same reasons as you. I'm not convinced my heart would survive. Perfectly healthy people who exercise daily have heart attacks at my age and I'm just not tempting fate. Age is doing that for me.

(Also, since it's legal now, I don't include weed in my use of the word "drugs")

Dude, it was 100% crack. I knew these people, and that same girl ended up breaking her face cause she was too high to be doing complicated handsprings. I'm not stupid and I know what was going on. I worked with musicians and dancers and theater folks most of my life until my mid-20s and I saw some folks end up in some dark paths. I know my drugs. Just cause I stayed off that stuff, doesn't mean I was unaware what was happening and I literally shared rooms on the road with these folks for a couple years. I saw the crack get bought, I saw them decide to snort it. They decided it was a stupid idea shortly later, but I'm sure they aren't the first idiots to come up with that idea.

 

Nothing says weekday lunch conversation like 'how does one partake in crack properly'

lol sounds like my new years this year, I have not drank since. , my wife does not like drinking or people who drink so that was one concession I had to make, but it was for the best my liver was happy.
