people here are way more PC than I thought... yesterday when everybody was arguing the morality of taking notes or copying parts of surveys... I thought people were going to start quoting parts of the TOA of Amazon or specific quotes from the TOA of certain surveys.
but ya I am glad we have a lot of law abiding upstanding citizens on here.

The used ones in the college bookstores are (were? they were when I was an undergrad/grad student) the same version as the new ones.

I usually check that, too.

I've got years of college experience in college bookstores. What's new to me is the online option. Maybe this teacher will give him an online option since the class is an online class.

It's just nice to call RA a criminal sometimes.

 

I had to use this seriously giant textbook for one of my Chaucer classes and the teacher wouldn't let you in the class without a physical copy of that exact book, and it was impossible to find the softcover at a decent price in the US (at the time) cause the softcover wasn't circulated in the US. I bribed one of my friends to bring me back the softcover from his euro-vacay that summer. Paid like 40 bucks+ a nice dinner for it One of the better textbook plans I've ever had.

only textbook i kept was my Wine Class. hardcover and lots of wineyard pretty pictures..... the science detailed stuff is great too

I still have Chaucer and Food History and a couple food science ones. I also have a half dozen engineering textbooks, cause Matt predictably got rid of his and regretted it. He still references those ones
